One row crochet heart applique

Besides the crochet flowers this crochet heart applique is the perfect solution to use all that scrap yarn. It only has one row and it is beginner friendly.
This crochet heart is super easy to make. The stitches used to make the crochet heart are:
- a chain stitch,
- a slip stitch - sl st
- a double crochet stitch - dc
- a triple/treble crochet stitch - trc
Materials needed for the crochet heart:
- crochet hook (3.5 mm)
- yarn (appropriate size for the crochet hook)
- scissors
- needle
The pattern is the worked in 1 ROW:
- start with a magic ring
- ch3, 3trc, 3dc, ch1, 3dc, 3trc, ch3, sl st
Cut the yarn, make a knot and hide the loose ends.

I made loads of them for my daughter, she uses them to make cards. I also made her the crochet flowers but she likes the hearts more. And I am happy to use all my scrap yarn. So it is a win win situation for both of us. Ty
