Crochet granny square purse
|
If you have few granny squares laying around and you don't know what to do with them. If you have 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 or 13 spare you can make a purse or a bag.
In this article I show you how to join together different numbers of granny squares to make a small coin purse or a bit bigger bag.
Starting with 2 granny squares.
And then with 3 crochet granny squares.
With 4 granny squares you can make 3 different ones.
Like an envelope.
This next one from 4 granny squares can be sewn together portrait or in landscape mode.
From the 5 granny squares you can make a boxed bag.
With 8 granny squares you can put them together in at least two different ways.
The easy way.
And the more advanced way.
And now for the last one. The one I will be making :) From 13 crochet granny squares the lay-down of the squares is as followed.
The straps, handles can be any length and thickness. You can adjust it to your own needs.
For better visual presentation on the different ways you can look at the YouTube video tutorial I made. I didn't sew/crochet them together but you can see the idea on how to put them together.
Happy crafting

Can you do a tutorial on how to make a crochet coin purse with 4 granny squares. The one that looks like a letter?
Did you use this patter for your crochet project?
