Crochet Easter Egg Flower Basket

|

Crochet basket with a popcorn stitch that looks like a tulip flower. These small baskets can hold an easter egg.

The pattern can be easily adjusted to any size of an egg - that can be normal or a crochet one.

Notes while crocheting

The increase is of the number of six (6) until you reach the desired size of the bottom of a basket.

For my egg and my crochet hook I only needed to go up to stitch count of 36. If you need a smaller basket, then you can stop at 30 stitches or 24 and if you want to make a bigger basket then you can continue with the increases of 6 until the size you want (42 or even 48 stitches).

A new stitch here is a popcorn crochet stitch, that does pop out and create an effect of a tulip bloom, but don't worry all is explained in the video tutorial.

For all the stitches I also made some diagrams for you to look at and see how the stitches are done.

It takes a bit more time to make than other raised stitches, but it’s well worth the effort.
